Growing up is not easy and at each stage of development, from infancy, right through to the teen years, there will be challenges that will test a child’s emotional and mental health.

Just like adults, children and especially teens have lots going on in their lives that may be difficult to understand and move through. Like adults, they are on a journey of self-discovery, and they will encounter difficult times. Unfortunately, they often do not have the experience needed to equip themselves with the tools and skills necessary to cope with their unique challenges.

I provide a non-judgmental space, where children and teens feel safe enough to open up and explore any challenges they may be experiencing. I work alongside young people, providing the tools and skills needed to support them to make sense of their world and finding solutions to any challenges they may have.

As each young person is unique, so must be the manner in which we work together. This means each session will be unique and personally suited to the individual. The type of therapies used, play, conversation, or alternative will be guided by that individual.
